Mailto firefox11/20/2023 ![]() ![]() Just google it and set Firefox as the default - it should have offered to become the default when you installed it anyway - and probably every time you open it, unless you've disabled that. It certainly does allow Firefox as the default browser, all my computers use it as the default - and in fact MicroSoft aren't allowed to force their own browsers as the default (since MANY years ago). I assume this affects Mozilla Thunderbird as my email client? Thanks but the complication is that Windows 10 doesn't allow Firefox to be my default browser even though this is the one I use! (It gives it as Microsoft Edge which I never use). If that was going to work you would need to enter the email client, Thunderbird, and not the browser.īut a simple google shows you what to do: I entered firefox.exe thinking that might work but to no avail. Whenever the mailto link props up it gives the gmail and yahoo mail - neither of which I have/use. How is this done? I am in Firefox (Windows 10) with Mozilla Thunderbird as my mail client. ![]()
